    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Establishments: All establishments employing 20 or more persons are required to register for EPF.
    • Employees: All employees earning a salary up to ₹15,000 per month are eligible for EPF membership.

    Documents Required:

    • PAN Card: Permanent Account Number (PAN) card of the employer.
    • GST Certificate: Goods and Services Tax (GST) certificate of the employer.
    • Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar card of the employer and employees.
    • Bank Account: Bank account details of the employer.
    • Establishment Certificate: Certificate of establishment, such as a certificate of incorporation or a partnership deed.

    Registration Process:

    • Online Registration: Visit the EPFO website (link unavailable) and click on "Establishment Registration".
    • Fill Application Form: Fill the online application form with required details, such as employer's name, address, and PAN number.
    • Upload Documents: Upload the required documents, such as PAN card, GST certificate, and Aadhaar card.
    • Pay Registration Fee: Pay the registration fee online.
    • Submit Application: Submit the application and take a printout of the acknowledgement receipt.

    Post-Registration Compliance:

    • Obtain EPF Code Number: The EPFO will issue a unique EPF code number to the employer.
    • Deposit Contributions: The employer must deposit the EPF contributions, comprising the employer's and employee's shares, on a monthly basis.
    • File Monthly Returns: The employer must file monthly returns with the EPFO, detailing the contributions deposited and other relevant information.
